I'm beginning to see evidence of mating season approaching. The Boat-tailed Grackle is showing his colors, singing his mating song and showing off. The Anhinga is losing it's drab summer color and that mating color seems to be showing up. The Green Heron I just threw in for fun.
He's always colorful. There are 5 photos so it will take a few minutes for me to post the last 2. Hope you like them.
#1 Boat-tailed Grackle male
#2 Showing his chest and calling for a mate.
#3 Standing tall - will the ladies be impressed?
#4 Anhinga
#5 Green Heron
Great shots Sunfish will wait till they're all through.

Thanks! I really find grackles annoying but I thought they should have their turn. I appreciate your comment.
