Bear River - More water birds and RWBB

In the main pond at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge there were several varieties of ducks. Along the road circling the pond the usual RWBB hung out in the reeds.

Photos are well composed but appear to NOT be fully focused, not tack sharp?

Are you using a tripod? What shutter speed?

Just going hand-held because of the conditions (too cold to set up).

I appreciate your visit, Ken. For some reason, most of these birds are here year round, although others of their breed migrate.

Great series Mike. I've never seen a Goldeneye ....interesting. Like the RWBB alot.
