Looking through the dusty archives and found a few Bee shots. Luv me some bees.

Most were taken during a very hot afternoon 98 F+ and very few open water sources are available to the birds and bees. A small puddle forms when my wife waters some of her plants. The birds and bees come to drink, offering me some photographic opportunities!

#5- the wings are in perfect symmetry and blurred-luv that shot!

#8 is an old, tired Bumblebee on a Fuchsia blossom. The rest are Honey Bees of various sub-species.

D850 except the last shot, 105 G f 28, 1/4000, f 11, ISOs from 64 to 8000! Handheld, no EC or CPL, yes some cropping and pp did occur. Last shot D500, 500pF, 1/1600, f 5.6, ISO 5000.

Download and enjoy!

A very nice series, all in very good focus. I love bees, I did some bee-keeping when I was younger and my place of living allowed it. Your observations are all very good! Thank you for posting!
