On Tuesday I drove out to Farmington Bay Bird Refuge to see if there were any birds. While there were a few, including a heron who wouldn't let me get off a decent photo, I was surprised by a bird sitting on a pole out in the distance.
I was focusing on the Northern Harrier in the foreground before I noticed the immature eagle on the other pole. The eagles usually show up towards the end of the month. This one must run with a different group.
Not too good of an eagle photo but, now I am excited for the rest of the troop to show up.
