Costco had Octopus from the Mediterranean Sea, so we bought it and made this dish with olive oil, oregano, garlic.

I like squid and can catch them locally
in the summer and I have some in the freezer I think I will try your recipe with them. the last octopus I had was smoked, but yours looks wonderful.

Thanks, yes, squid, or calamari, is delicious too and a lot more available than octopus.

My sentiments exactly.

Now if it was the same recipe with shrimp, scallops, lobster or crab meat I'd be all over it.

Looks delicious. Unfortunately in my house I would be eating it alone, my wife won't touch octopus.

It looks great. Funny but I had the octopus in my COSTCO shopping cart but put it back at the last minute.
Was it as good as it looks in your picture? It was also a bit pricey at $20.00

It was very good and there was a lot in that package.
