The Conservative Dilemna

What are some things conservatives are right about?

Conservatives are actually right (in theory) on just about everything. They are pro family (in theory), pro life (again in theory), they are pro competition (but not if they can’t control it), they are pro national p***e (but only if you are blindly obedient), they are pro schools, but only if if you pay for it in your school districts.

They are pro just about everything that everyone would want to be pro about and that is around the world, not just in the USA.

Only one thing, they don’t do anything that they are pro about, except they are pro business, big business and pro corporate capitalism meaning all the breaks go to largest corps, lobbyists and mega rich who get tax breaks. They are pro family but they don’t want to support families, especially they don’t want to support single women.

Does any of this make sense? I, along with 70% of Americans and most of the world am a ‘conservative’ in that I want to conserve our resources, I want to conserve our environment, I want to conserve life and make sure that health care is provided so that we can meet that goal.

I could go on, do you get it? Conservatives are exactly what the majority of the world including Americans want. They don’t want hand outs, they don’t want to sit on their bums, they don’t want to be on drugs, they don’t want to be unemployed, they don’t want to be homeless, but they are.

Why? Because so called conservative policies are not conservative at all. They promote the rich, they promote the elites, they promote a narrow agenda, they promote r****m ...just as the far left promotes r****m.

In the end, the global dilemma, especially in the US is where do true conservatives go? They have no place; they are stuck watching two angry bookends; the left who are entitlement oriented and the far right who are angry we are not going to give up wh**ever illusion they they they are going to give up; and are stuck with no one to represent them.

Why do you think our former president was successful? He had no solutions but he tapped into the obvious, the world is full of conservative people who just want to get on with their lives and make sure they have a fair go. As for the extremes, true conservatives are disgusted by both and that is where we stand today.

Moderates (either liberal or conservative) are not what they once were.

Liberals are not moving as far left as you may think.

The former president tapped into white grievance which came to a head 1*6/21.

And the former President continues to exploit it.

Actually Trump did have good solutions as a true leader. Biden is Not a leader. He just makes edicts. He has no following. No one follows him. Not even the Dimwit Dems.

Trump was a problem solver. Trump's achievements are numerous and legendary from Isis to the Border to the economy, to the Abraham Accords. Biden doesn't solve problems and crises, he creates them.

Trump had unlimited energy. No one could keep up with Trump's work ethic around the clock and boundless energy. Sleepy Joe puts a lid on it at 9am.

Trump had great instincts. From cutting taxes, to withdrawing troops that didn't harm the Kurds, to Operation Warp Speed which everyone but him mocked. Every decision Biden has made in his first year, even going back 40 years, has been wrong.

Trump followed through on his promises. Promises made, promises kept. No other president has kept so many. In contrast to Biden and his claim of unity-- big laugh. Demonize half of the country and call them r****ts. That's the ticket to unity.

Reading this article it certainly does not hit home with me, so I looked in to the author and just as I suspected he definitely leans leftward, only a liberal could write such BS regarding what conservatism is.

You are so right about his unbounded energy. Why heck, after putting on his makeup till around noon, he would then create tweetstorms well into the morning hours of the next day. Remarkable energy indeed.

Yes, he communicated and entertained us without berating and yelling at us. And he still had the time and energy to compile the most positive accomplishments of any one term president in U.S. history.

Are you suggesting that the democrats are not obsessing over Trump? If you folks would stop with Trump this and Trump that, keep him out of the headlines there is a good possibility that he just may fade away.

BS, why is everything about race with you folks, how about the former president tapped into middle-class grievance? The uneasiness has little to do with skin color and everything to do with a dying middle class in this country.
