Unfortunately not a lot to report at this time. After the Christmas break and this darn Covid, not a lot has been done. We shut the ship down to visitors last week due to the virus, not sure when we'll open again.
One thing that's is good to see, we are now getting the new deck floors laid in the first class section of the ship, the stern. When this is finished we can get on with building the first class cabins to what they were back in the day. The plan is to build four of them, fully furnished. The decking timber is a modern type to simulate the heavy, thick timbers that were used originally.
More displays have been added and show what life was like on the journey out to Adelaide.

Very well presented Ron. I think they were voyages I would not care to make. An interesting look into life aboard ship. Even First Class must have been less than glamorous

Thanks Jack, yes the more In get into it the more interesting it gets...you might be surprised to know, they actually had flushing toilets in first class...
