He posted a short video on Instagram which was little more than an announcement that he has it and shows it.
He says he knows very little about it, but will be taking it out to shoot and will be making a video about it.
He says it is very light, asks what it will cost and says Nikon has put a gold ring on it.
The gold ring may give a clue as to price in that it may indicate the form of currency you will need to pay for one.

It will likely be around the $11,000 mark since that what the current F mount goes for. My 400/28 is at least 20 years old and is great. I'm hoping it will work on F mount.

Don't see how the new 400mm f/2.8 with built in TC can work on a F mount (maybe you were joking)? But there should be lots of used F mount 400mm f/2.8 available once this gets produced in sufficient quantities so their price should fall if you or anyone else has been eyeing one.

I think you would need a ZTF adapter which doesn't exist.
I thought that sounded like a great contender for a GAS attack. But when I got to "$11,000" I had to stop reading.
