This will occur, regardless of the hours spent searching for it, within days of you giving up and purchasing the replacement!

And I thought it was a boat in the Far East.
Years ago, I had to get my starter fixed on a weekend. The local parts-man took me over to a local Elm Tree mechanic who worked under an old Elm tree. He had a four foot square sheet of wood panel on top of two wheel hubs. The pile of automotive parts was about two feet high in the center. He put my starter in the vise next to the pile. With surgical precision, he worked the casing top off. Without looking, he reached to the left into the pile and pulled out two stators which replaced the worn down ones in the starter. Reconnected the starter casing and handed it back to me. To any one, that pile looked like a junk pile. To him, parts to resurrect older automotive motor parts.
I love when I have "junk", and it fits the bill better than anything I could buy in the present.
That hit the nail on the head!
