I don't know if this will remain in the Main section because it's a cartoon, but it does offer an idea for selling. I've seen this suggested in movies.

This gives me hope. 🥸🥸🥸
I know this is intended as a joke, but marking one as "sold," does have an influence on the lookers!
Jerry I totally enjoy you image portal
http://www.catskillcam.comBrings back stellar memories of my Woodstock Music Aquarian Exposition experience... priceless and precious...
Oh, I was rather successful doing the "Crafts Fairs" circuit back in the late 70's and 80's (most of these events were held in charismatic Tourist "Traps"). Primarily attended by "City Folks" with very deep pockets. My marketing paradigm here was to setup our booth and allow my "Trophy" wife to be our "Front Man" Worked like a charm and she actually would have given Melania *another stellar Fashion Model Trophy* some serious competition. I also worked IT for Computer Associates of Islandia NY and was assigned to the Sales Team's floor... Trust me, they dressed and looked like they just walked off the set of a shoot for VOGUE or GQ...
So you don't have a "Trophy" wife? Not a problem... Here is another very viable route, albeit you'll be competing with me here... Good Luck! I always love and thrive on competition!

"Limited quantity" seems to work quite well.

Nothing new here. This is also why service people "seed" the tip jar at the beginning of their shift. When was the last time you saw an empty tip jar?
Also, raising your prices for art work will help.

In art or photo galleries, very often a gold star is placed nearby to denote that the art has been sold.
Be well! Ed
Do you remember Paul Harvey?
One of his stories was a guy in NYC that just bought a new apartment. He was having a house warming party, but had nothing for the walls. So he got some canvases and paint and made a dozen pieces of "art" - kinda like bimbo Biden. And he hung them with price tags of $450k, 385k, etc.
A week after the party someone broke into his apt and stole the artwork. They left the gold, silver settings, very expensive sound system, etc. Just the expensive artwork. Interesting....
