Some time ago I found a Windows program which would display Exif shutter actuation data AND silent shutter actuations. Unfortunately, I have lost track of that software and wonder if anyone might know of software which can do this.

If one has IrfanView installed on a Windows PC, viewing all the EXIP data and changing some of them is easy.

1. Open the photo in IrfanView.
2. Click Image/Information and an Image Properties window opens where some of the parameters can be changed, such as dpi which helps in the printing process and importing into MS Word.
3. At the bottom of that window, click on the "EXIF info" button to see all that data.
4. Scroll to the bottom of that window will show a "Copy to clipboard" button.
5. Close the EXIF window and then click on the "IPTC info" button to see that data.

IPTC stands for "International Press Telecommunications Council" info and includes such items as title, description, location where the photo was taken, the photographer, copyright details, and keywords.

For those of us who were uncertain, EXIP stands for "EXchangeable Image File" info. --Richard

Just one more note, Jornada. The EXIP data is usually entered by the camera while, at least for my cameras, I must add the values for the IPTC data if I want any of that to go along with the photo. --Richard
