Not too much happening at the nearby wetlands today, so thought I would wander around the Brevard Zoo. They have been enlarging and improving many of the animal enclosures, but along with that most of them either have screen, chain-link fence, or glass/plexiglass between visitors and the animals. Sometimes this can be overcome, but sometimes not so much, depending upon where the animal is located, how the sun might be hitting the fence/glass, etc...

I missed getting to the Brevard Zoo during the holidays in the Daytona area. Excellent results, Steve! Reminding me of a must-do next time.

I enjoyed them, I like the light on the first bird's head feathers.

Thanks Paul. We are excited about the plans the zoo has for building an aquarium up at the Cape. That will be about 3 years to complete.

Thanks for posting these images. I was very impressed by this zoo when I visited a few years ago. I'm sure it is much better now.
