Explored the local Water Treatment plant that had been closed to the public until recently.

Primarily I'm seeing large numbers of Northern Shovelers and Wigeons

I had better luck with photos of the Shovelers over the Wigeons.

Yes, that's where they were. I recommend checking it out. It's a bit of a hike for the various ponds.
But I've enjoyed several visits.
Just hit the speaker and park by the palm trees.

Love the first shoveler. Are you referring to the water treatment plant just off the freeway near the Canoa Ranch exit. Didn't know you could get in there so I have never attempted it. Again, nice shoveler!

This just opened recently.

Lots of shovelers and pigeons, plus snow geese and other duck species
