Seeing your collection is a good reminder that I’ve mislaid my T-ball jotter. Tho, I’m partial to Parker for pens of any kind, your Rotring pencil is a beauty. Thanks for sharing.

I had a Parker like that about 40 years ago and loved it. It was a gift and I discovered the joy of writing with one. It slowed me down a bit and I thought a little more as I wrote. I became more careful about shaping my letters also. Today, we have gotten rid of cursive -- but it can be a code among those of us who know.

I did not realize how valuable fountain pens could be and left it on my desk unattended for a couple of hours.

Later, I got lucky and found someone getting rid of a broken Mont Blanc, I sent it back to the manufacturer for repair ($86.) and have treasured/guarded it ever since.

Nice set & photos! Amazing they abandoned cursive, and that those who haven't learned it can't read it!

I love to write with a fountain pen, but email took away letter writing completely and bills are all paid electronically nowadays. Now if I fill a fountain pen the ink dries up and clogs the point because I don't use it enough.

I still sign letters, and I take notes while watching webinars, and I flush out the pen with warm water every month.

It is a bit of trouble, but worth it.

Now, with cursive, it's my encoder.

Nice collection ! Thanks for sharing !
Looking at the Waterman brings back memories ! Now, email and text messages replaced letter writing and electronic bills took over checks ! Hand writing used to be a qualification once upon a time !!

My sixth grade teacher, Miss Costello, an immaculately turned out spinster lady, was an absolute fiend on penmanship. I DID learn the Palmer method, and can still write a fair hand though I have speed printed most of the rest of my life. Times change!
