I made a post several days agio about selling a Nikon D800. UHH sent me a PM telling me the post was deleted because it was political. What the hell.... selling a D800 is political!! I sent the UHH gurus a reply, asking them to please explain to me how that post was political, so far, no reply from the gurus! I am betting that the gurus don't have the guts nor the decency to explain to me why it was political in their eyes. prove me wrong UHH!

I'm surprised this post hasn't been deleted. I once posted a factual comment that was deleted as political. I later posted a follow up questioning why my post had been deleted when others that were more political had not been deleted. My follow up post was then deleted because it was "complaining." I almost quit UHH because of that. The administrators are not consistent in what they delete.

One of them should have been deleted.

They have their own agenda. I have been warned twice. I'm not sure anymore about what is and is not political.

It might not have anything to do with you directly. It may be because jrkarra got himself removed from the UHH or he dropped his membership. He posted a number argumentative replies to a post that may have included a political insult. He seemed to be one who wanted to or did buy your D800. So all associated posts went bye bye too. And are you positive it the was Admin who removed your post and not just another UHH'er pulling a trick on you? And the Admin does make errors, I have been the victim of that but usually of them not taking action on one of my complaints. Usually political posts just get sent to the Attic Section of the UHH and not simply delete. Take it easy.

The problem is that every single facet of our lives has been politicized. Enjoyment and fun aren't allowed anymore, we all are supposed to feel guilty about various perceived injustices that are being forced upon us.

So, we’re there comments in the thread that WERE political?,if so the thread can be deleted and the original poster warned even though he /she isn’t at fault. It’s happened to my friend Jerry a number of times. Is this the reason for your other thread complaining about the “liberals” on UHH? If so, your argument is with the person that took your thread in a political direction.

Possibly someone else made comments on the thread or complained "just because" (maybe they don't like you) and Admin didn't take time to look in person (a lot of posts to check every day).

For what it’s worth: I once commented on a post that was “political” and got a message from admin that my post had been removed. My comment was asking the OP if I was missing something…it made no sense to me. I think what happened was they removed the original post and my comment, and others, went with it. Maybe that’s what happened to you.
