Another great set KT
I wonder how many pounds of chrome each car was carrying
More stylized automotive design beauty. Old vehicles very striking in their lines and trim. Thanks for sharing.
Question: Do any of these cars offer a hand crank for starting the motor? I remember my father using a hand crank for this purpose.
excellent shots... Those were the days

Beauties. Nice shooting, KT.
Brings backmemories, my very first personally owned car was a 1940 black Ford 2-door sedan. Became an expert in replacing the bendix spring on the starter!
Great set, and it's a vintage year that takes me back in time. In 1964, I bought my first car which was a 1941 two-door Oldsmobile Hydrmatic Series 66 with a flat head six-cylinder and an oil-bath air filter. It had less than 50,000 miles with the original spare tire and owner's manual. Spotless paint and dent-free in every detail. It was like driving a cruise ship down the road and the manual steering and drum breaks quickly made a man out of me building muscles in my arms and right leg. I really wish that I had it yet today.
Good stuff! Getting into my high school years now, KT.

By 1929 most cars were equipped with an electric starter. However, many still had the option of a hand crank well into the fifties, but those were mostly foreign cars and some trucks.
#4 The Cadi Convertible is my pick of the bunch......rare to see two separate spare tire assys. on opposite running boards. Lovely condition and a definite Driver all around.
