Thank you very much, Ben.

Although I didn't think of it when I was taking this photograph, in a way, that might be what I'm trying to inspire in the viewer, a sense of being where, and seeing what, they shouldn't. Perhaps I did think of that aspect but it wasn't conscientiously.

The idea and theme are great.

During the winter of 1993-4 Merry Alpern photographed through a window in one building into another. This project was published and was presented as a major exebition. Excerpts from the book that were also exhibited in a gallery.

In all reality, John, we, as photographers, are voyeurs. We record along with our visually observing the life around us.

Penthouse Magazine:
"We followed the philosophy of voyeurism," Guccione told The Independent newspaper in London in 2004. He added that he attained a stylized eroticism in his photography by posing his models looking away from the camera.

"To see her as if she doesn't know she's being seen," he said. "That was the sexy part. That was the part that none of our competition understood." -Bob Guccione, Penthouse International

Thanks, AZNikon. I guess I beat Bob to the punch. These were taken in the late 70s.

Nice job Bob. As they say... when opportunity arises you gotta take the shot. Back in the day I seemed to be in front of the camera and not behind it. Now I avoid the front of a camera. Someone has "those" photos. LOL

Fun and creative image. I've always wanted to do this. Maybe we'll try this soon. Of course, I will be the one tasked to clean the windows.

Nah, it's better if the windows are a little dirty :)

Thank you very much, InfiniteISO. It's probably better if the windows are not spotless. That assists the "reality" of the scene.
