This is our new barn cat Barney. He is 2 or 3 and weighs 12 lbs. Cells are handy to have in the barn when doing chores. He is looking down at Rosie munching her hay

Barney is handsome, been in a scrap or two and that shows he’s tough.

He is a rescue . They neuter, give shots, worm and Clip one Ear, and Chip. Then up for a new home at no cost to me. The rule is to keep them in a extra large crate for 8 weeks so they know where home is. Barney's time is up and he is Out!! He was friendly actually 2 days after we got him. Now he is a lap cat!! Come spring he will be able to go outside. Now just run of the barn with Rosie. It is a nice program. I used it before. Thankyou 🐾🐾🐈

That is so great that Barney will have such a loving forever home! That is a great picture. Why do they clip one ear?

They do that with all of them. Some are farrow and turned back out all fixed etc. If they are found again, clipped ear says they are chipped and can be returned to owner if that is the case

Thanks for the info, great program. Just curious how you can keep him in the barn. Our barn doors were pretty big. If the cats wanted to go out they just bolted when we opened a door.

I put him in his crate when i enter by the service door. He is easy to catch. Then i let Rosie out the big door, then let Barney out for the day. Repeat same in evening when i let Rosie in for the nite. Spring comes he can go in and out as he wants, as i leave top of service door open.

Wow, you sure have your program down. Sorry if it felt I was interrogating you, not my intention. Just love cats and barns. Best wishes for a great new year!
