Beautiful young woman. I would like to see a bit more detail in a couple of areas of the face. Not sure if it is due to heavy make-up or post processing that makes a couple areas of the skin look too smooth and a little plastically. Not that I would want such sharp detail so as to show individual pores, but a little detail would look more natural.
Both 001 and 002 are good portraiture. I prefer 002 because the is more light in the subject's eyes and the orbital area of her face- it tends to lack those attributes on the other. I like the camera position better on 002 than 001 - it is slightly higher and shows less of her nostrils. The cooler colour in the clothing emphasizes the warmth of the skin tone whereas in 001 the stripes are rather distracting.
As for skin texture- smoothness is a matter of taste. What you have is pretty, glamourizing and quite acceptable. The specular highlights are well placed and add sparkle.
The hood on 002 provides a nice framing of the face and brings out the texture in the hair.
Judging portraits can be subjective. When folks ask ME for critique, I go by traditional criteria. In, fact, however, there are no rules carved in stone. The way I approach any given subject may be quite different than yours. Many contemporary portraits have more of a fashion flare or a glamour approach, others are serious detailed studies. May famous "Hollywood" era portraits are retouched to the nth degree. Others are orthochromatic and monochromatic renditions that show every flaw and pore. At the end of the day, you are the artist and you get to interpret the subject as per the "statement" YOU want to make about that person!
I hope this helps.
I agree with Mr. Shapiro, I like this one more than the first one.

This pic had to be wonderfully lit prior to starting PP.
This really raises the bar in my mind.
I Love it because it makes me . . . .

Thanks JimmyT,
I didn’t do too much in post. Only clean up her skin just a bit. I usually don’t have to enhance or change the lighting in post because I tend to shoot it right.
I love this! She is beautiful and so is your work!
