You may wish to take note of the time of sunrise, date, and general location you were, and be able to repeat the performance... if conditions cooperate. I have seen a similar occurrence, but on an interstate bridge near Little Rock, Ark. It definitely appeared as if the buildings were fully ablaze! Quite spectacular! Just didn't have the fog like your photo.
We get some very nice sunrises over the Chugach Mountains, but I’ve not seen one like this one before. Of course it’s only in the winter that the sun rises over the mountains like that. During the summer the sun’s so high in the sky that it never really gets dark, and at official sunrise, it just gets lighter. The view in this one is from the back of our home in Wasilla, Ak.
