Cool! I have one from a few years ago similar to this taken in my back yard. Do you have an ID on them?

Mine are Red-shouldered hawks. Yours are Cooper's hawks. The odd thing is that the one in the male position in your photo is still in juvenile plumage. It is probably a little older than one year, before its first moult. The female is an adult. You got a great image, for sure.

Glad you liked it, Jimmy. I was photographing the female on the pole from about 70 feet away. I was slightly hidden, when all of a sudden the male flew in and here is the outcome.

You're correct. The fledgling on top want's the catch that mom is holding onto. It eventually got it too.
