Barn on the Wyoming Hereford Ranch that is now converted for special events.
Which do you prefer B&W or color version?
I like them both the same

I much prefer the b/w, it brings out the clouds much better.

B&W for sky; Color for barn. Though in general there seems little or no texture to the buildings. The lighting is not at optimal angle for that. Though perhaps it looks far better as a large print than it does on my smartphone.
Given the choice, I prefer the color version.
Thanks to all for looking and commenting, looks like it's a toss up between the two by the comments posted so far. Reflects my perception too, I couldn't pick one over the other to post!
Have a Merry Christmas everyone.

Each is picturesque and beautiful

Beautiful image - Nice job on the B&W, but I really liked the color version.
I like Herefords with horns and barns with their actual color. Both both are very nice.
I love Ansel Adams. But would like to have seen everyone one of his great photos in color also.
The sky is very ominous in #1 and emotes a feeling of something about to happen and my favorite by far. #2 is nice but it looks like a postcard.
I prefer the color by a wide margin. Always wondered if the old Wyoming Hereford Ranch (WHR) was preserved and still exists. I visited that ranch a couple of times in my youth, as did most people who were in the Registered Hereford business. The ranch was very large and well known. Their herd bull paddocks were the best and most unique I have ever seen. This ranch was the best to ever exist.
Prince Domino, an iconic herd sire that nearly all existing Herefords trace to, spent his last years at the WHR. When he died they buried him on the ranch yard and erected a huge granite headstone to mark his grave for posterity. I'm wondering if that gravestone still exists. Do you have any idea about that ???
