I still have my D800e and use it. I cannot remember the difference between the D800 and 800e, but if either is priced right go for it.

It’s a good deal if it’s a US version. Nikon U.S.A. doesn’t repair or sell parts for international versions.
This may not be as accurate as it once was. I spoke with the owner of the camera repair shop I've been using for several years and he said he really has no problem getting Nikon parts, either from North America or Asian sources. By the way, there are all international versions; they are all manufactured outside the USA. For the most part, the only difference is the language setting in the menu.
Fear not of the shutter count on the D800 for I am approaching 250,000 on my Nikon D810 and it is still going strong.
Always Check That I think its Bullcrap thatThey Do That They'll sell.A Vendor A Container Ship of dslr cameras But unless they're an authorized Canon Or Nikon OR WHOEVER dealer ? They won't warranty Them ? They're Genuine Products coming of the Same Assembly Lines and Same parts ect.. is it worth The Diffrence In Price ? Well depends on tge Camera or Lens your after And Current prices For that Camera? The More Honest Vendors Will Say its A International version ( Grey market ) up front and Some Will even Offer a Store WARRANTY In lieu of A Cannon warranty ? But even then they May have trouble Getting parts as I understand it canon Ask for Serial numbers so they can cross reference whether its A US warranty version or International.? I bought a Canon 760D ( T6s ) a Few years Back and it was the International version and have had no problems with it ! But making that Decision is something you must weigh the Options and Choose for yourself ? I think Assuming your model is In stock ? I would Go Factory Refurbished assuming it was A Good Deal ! You're Getting as Nearly New camera at A Substantial Discount and A actual.Manufactuers WRranty vs A Store Warranty or No Warranty at All ! Am looking at a Couple of Canons now But one is in stock and one not Direct From.Canon !! So hopefully it will come back around and I can order Both. At once instead of Order Wait Irder And Wait ? And Merry Christmas everyone !!!!
