This is one for a sample of sharpen. I thought it was ok until I ran it through sharpen. What a difference. I am now going through 22,000 photos I had flagged 5 star (to me that's a wall hanger, and possible money). I'm deleting a lot and running a lot through Topaze. Some through sharpen (this one) and some through denoise. I can get close in Light room, but no cigar compared to Topaz. so much quicker and better (for me).

This photo is of shark fin rock in northern Ca. (Davenpot ,Ca.) On highway 1.

Need to view in download to really see the difference. A lot more detail in the rocks and the people.

I bought both early this year and I too have been amazed, especially with Sharpen. Photos that previously would have been discarded are now keepers.

I have been using them for a long time now. If they can come up with "Focus AI" they will own the photographic world

Jack, sharpen does a pretty good job. The top photo above is really soft. Sharpen did a great job on it, the second photo.

Quite a difference Frank - nice shot! I the the only real competition for Topaz is DxO.

Here is Frank's original download sharpened with Easy Photo Unblur - a dedicated sharpener which I think can do better - at a much cheaper cost. It does like smaller files, which can be resized prior to using. They also do an AI denoise app. at a good price.

Thanks for the info Delderby.....looks good..it retails for $49.99. it is on sale at 70% off. I got topaze denoise, sharpen, and megapixel for $85, same price. I was not aware of the one you mention. But I'm happy with what I got. Maybe the info will help others

This makes me think. This is a photography forum, and a lot of questions come up about editing software. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a list of such posted permanent here.

Thanks again.
