i have been going every evening and sit for about 4 hours each night , these are a fair crop as i dont want to get to close to the nesting burrow , easy to tell if you are to close as they stop coming in with food for the young , but where i sit they just go about their business as i am not their , even had one snatch a bee above my head , so close i felt the wind from its wings , these are only five minutes from me so easy to go out each night ...these little guys fly 3000 plus km every year to breed in southern Australia , some come from as far north as Papua new guinea ... i am using a Canon R5 with mostly a sigma 150-600 sport
Outstanding action sequence of a beautiful bird! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Very good captures, Gawler.
Nice series, thanks for sharing.
