Dish looks excellent and a appetizing food photo as well. Got to have iron! Bought a new coated pan the other day, easy to clean, but I don't believe it did this morning's bacon as well as my old ironware.

Looks delicious!! I agree with Quixdraw, my wife has several other than iron pans but when I'm cooking I go for my ancient iron frying pans.

If anyone wants it:
Chicken with Honey Garlic glaze
2 lg or 3 smaller chicken breasts
2-3 T of flour
3 T of butter or vegetable oil
Preheat the pan med. heat with OO
With the chicken reddy to cook, (washed) skinless side up, with a sharp knife, make slices halfway down through the chicken every 3/4 in next turn the breast 45ΒΊ and contune making this patten so that the chicken looks "cubed" on one side but still all together . on a small plate put 3 T AP flour and as much salt and pepper as you want sturred into the flour, flour both sides of the chicken well and place in hot pan. Fry until golden brown for 2-3 minutes per side reduce heat, and add
4-6 cloves of garlic
turn over and fry for another 2 minutes
Salt pepper
Reduce heat and add
1.5 T of butter
3 T of honey
1 T of soy sauce
1Β½ T of apple cider vinegar or wine vinegar
Bring the sauce to a boil and reduce the heat
Simmer until the sauce thickens, turning the chicken breast regularly
In a bowl, You can do this part a day or 3 ahead
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tomato diced
5 T of sour cream
2 T of mayonnaise
1 clove of garlic diced
1 rounded t of yellow mustard
Salt, black pepper mix well and add
300 g or 2-3 c tri-color cabbage ( white,red and carrots
1/4 c red onion sliced thin
1/2 bell pepper sliced thin
1/2 cucumber or one big pickling cuke
1 small carrot shredded
1 tomato diced
mix into the dressing
Enjoy, A delicious dinner with chicken breast and vegetables is ready!

I started collecting Cast Iron pans when I was in high school, I am now 69 and my wife said we have around 250 of various pans, pots ovens and cauldrons. This is our Christmas tree mad with a few of our legged Dutch Ovens. Looks better at night with lights.
Thanks for the recipe! Wonderful tree idea! Can't imagine how you store all that Iron. With a far smaller numbers, tiny by comparison, I have to repair the drawers that the pans are stored in from time to time. Even quality kitchen cabinetry isn't built for the weight. Merry Christmas!
