Here are a few photos of a Great Horned Owl, Gray Hawk, Crested Caracara and Harris's Hawks.

These were taken at the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson. I highly recommend visitors to the area to check this place out.
From late fall thru April they run daily "Raptor Free Flight" demonstrations for visitors. Yesterday I felt the wings of the Great Horned Owl on my head as he past by. The Harris Hawk also came pretty close to my head.
An amazing experience.

Not for a year or more. It's nice to see the free flight birds without jesses. I need to get out more but the cold weather just slows the old body down to a crawl.

I understand...it was a bit chilly at 1st. My feet got tired after a few hours

Jim, these are incredibly detailed views of wings. In particular, you have shown wing-warping. That was the key to the Wright Brothers success at mastering controlled flight. Human aviators will see these shots differently than most others. Thank you.
