A few shots of a friend's daughter.
Let me know how I did... Gently. ;)
Oh all right... Or any way you see fit. :)
Gently, I like them!! Very pretty model with very nice eyes
Thanks krgatlgm, she was fun to work with, I'm sure that helped.
I agree she is a PYT. :)
Gently also. my favorite was the up close, #3. Next time try to get all her head showing and allow a little more so the picture can be framed without losing part of the head. I learned that tip on UHH. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice. good job.

Third shot is the best.
1 pointer when doing portraits with backgrounds.... simplify.
Purple is to much. Lines of railings are competing with your subject.
Watch hand positions. I like more solid colors(but not white). Busy clothing also competes here with the subject.

Nice shots.
I must admit that when I read your title, I pictured a whole different subject. - Yours is better

I was expecting a picture of a bunch of seniors sitting around the community pool of a 55+ community (like where I live).
Nice photos.
I like no 3 best. Would like to have seen three small diamonds in that ear. Not being critical, just observant.
Nice shots. Less sharpness in the backgrounds would help concentrate on the subject. I realize young folks now like strange or odd (to us older photogs) so things like this probaboy apeal to them....often even when shown something better (?). Th last...head shot is very nice and expressive but something about the ear bothers me. It seems to grab my attention, distracting from the effect. Sorry, no solution to offer...
Beautiful subject! Now just improve the background on #1 & #2, The result in #3 makes a VERY nice portrait, love her expression!
Railings and grates like the backgrounds in the first 2 are not very conducive to individual portraits. If there was a group it wouldn't be so bad. Try using the wall side of the stairs for a much better background.

I like the last one best. I know it is nit picky, but she should have had a earrings in... Also the first one the big blurry railing is very distracting. Other than that, she is very pretty, nice job.

Very photogenic girl, good expressions, good color balance, great focus. Number 1 & 2 foreground and background and her clothes not good, too distracting. Number 3 best of all but have to agree that the whole head would have made a better portrait and either PP the earlobe marks or wear the earrings. Try to get her to pose again and please post here. You've gotten too much right to stop now.

Thanks, this was more playing model that serious portraits (she's not using them for the year book). My previous model was a pro and I did not have to worry about much with her and I got spoiled. ;) If I work with this girl again I will have to watch her positions more closely. Thanks for the advice though. It's good advice. :)
LOL! Thanks NOTLguy and BW326, had not thought about that... Guess I should have said High School Senior portraits. :) :) :)
