A few years ago, after coming into money unexpectedly, I bought a bunch of lenses on Amazon new for my 5D3. The majority of them ended up hardly ever used. I recently switched to mirrorless, bought a Canon R5 with RF lenses, and sold most of my EF lenses through Craigslist, where the buyers stopped by to pick them up. This lens is not a 9+, but in as new condition, since I only used it a few times indoors when I first bought it, and it was stored the rest of the time. It is version 1.

I am curious - this is a really good lens - did you try using it with the adapter on your new camera? If so, did you dislike the results?

I have had no use for the lens on my 5d3 camera for years, why would I keep it for the R5? The problem is not the lens, the problem is that I don't use it.
