Looking Southwest over the Puget Sound Naval Yard.
D500, 500pF! No pano, no background or sky manipulation.
Captured some clouds and a communications tower to boot!

The telephoto compression effect has done its job of bringing the distant mountain closer to the foreground. As well as that, it's done what I would expect it to do, which is to include the atmospheric haze which is due to the distances involved.
