From the original post. I neglected to search this topic to see if it had been covered previously. No doubt that it has and likely numerous times. However, in my defense, software is changing more rapidly than we change our minds. To the respondents who suggested that I try numerous free downloads to determine which one suits me, I say tht I am computer challenged and would be frustrated beyond measure to be inundated with different programs that have unique interfaces. In addition, I don't have that much time and patience for such an endeavour. I did acquire Luminar A1 and with the help of a friend, I am 'in business'. Even more significant is that I went out for a shoot yesterday in the midst of a snowfall and made some wonderful photos. I will place a few on the photo sharing site later today.
Thanks again to all of you. Much appreciated!
Luminar is so very user friendly. I recently purchased Luminar A1, had a one hour lesson from a friend and truly, I am off and running.
As offered, here are some photos that I made yesterday and processed them using Photos. These images were made in Toronto in Queen's Park, the University of Toronto (Trinity College) and in a walkway called Philosopher's Walk.

Hear hear! And you get to spend more time shooting and less time sitting behind the computer.

Well those are nice images! I feel like I am there! Brrr.
Seeing that makes me think sitting behind a computer in a nice warm room isn't so bad. LOL. But I''m glad you ventured out and shared the results.
