To constantly insist that mirrorless is better than a DSLR is the opposite of SPOT ON.

Splain it to me, Lucy, aside from mirror slap noise and the click, what can a mirrorless camera do that a DSLR can't?

Show you the image you are about to take including light and shadow and color, in the viewfinder, before you press the shutter.

It can sit still for the photographer when the picture is being taken.

I like that answer…. That is like people ask me why I like Apple computers with my Sony cameras… I say; because they play well together.

Bill, I think that you misunderstood what I was trying to get at and I should have explained myself better. I own a Nikon Lineup that includes the D750, D500, D5, and the Best DSLR ever produced in my opinion, that being the D850. Now, I recently bought the Sony A1, and I can tell you that the Dynamic range of my D5 or D850 can really produce just as good of an image that the Sony A1 does. I will never part with my Nikon gear as I do use them as a backup or, in simple terms, a Second Body. I will even go as far as to state my Opinion, I really believe that the D500 is one of the best Nature and Wildlife Cameras that have ever been produced, after all it has the same capabilities that My D850 has except when it comes to Low-Light situations. Plus the D850 has a lower base ISO. Now I will state this, and this is my conclusion when it comes to the Sony A1. I love how the Sony A1 detects and keeps the Animal and Person's Eye in constant focus. I mean this camera has shocked me when it comes to tracking. I also love the Electronic Viewfinder, it is on par with what you see is what you get. I do a lot of Photography for my Alma Mater, The University of Michigan Sports, and I can't wait until New Years Eve. We have been putting the Young Men through some intense practices. I do not like to change lenses out in the field. So I will rev up my D500 with the 70-200 VR2, The D850 with my 600mm f/4 which I think is one of the best lenses ever made, and I will have my Sony A1 with the 200-600G lens. so, I hope that you now see what I was trying to get at. I can shoot with a D810 AND Get Great shots, but I choose to use whatever will get the job done with less effort.
