I ordered this for my Z6 on August 13. Finally in stock and per B&H will arrive at my door tomorrow. Will use and report.

I received mine Sun. @ 1:35 pm. from B&H. All is well, it only took 4 months

Unless things changed since I got the SE version, Nikon does not include a lens hood. For $10.99 I bought this set.

I just got my 28mm SE version yesterday from B&H. I dug around in my closet and found a Nikon HN-2 screw in lens hood that is going to work just fine. Took some pictures in my office but will take it outdoors sometime today. I like the ribbed focus ring and the metal ribbed ring to help mounting and unmounting the lens.

Just in case you already have one, the normal hood for the old Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 is HN-1.It fits on the Z model but I will have to test it in the field to make sure it works.

I cancelled my order after four months. Probably good as non-retro one is now coming.
A realistic evaluation of how much I might use it relieved my GAS for the time being. Maybe illustrations here will revive it.
