I have been having a wonderful time photographing the Grand Tetons this early winter with the Canon R5 and several RF lenses. Things are going well and all of my workshop groups are getting plenty of moose and bighorn sheep photos. For the first time, I have been trying focus stacking with relatively still wildlife and that is working out well. Both photo 1 and 3 are focus stacks using the super fast in-camera focus bracketing mode with increment set to 4 and number of images set to 30. Picture 8 at Schwabachers is also a focus stack using the auto tool in the camera. At first I was not excited about it, but now I see how well it works and use it most of the time. If you have never photographed the Tetons during fall color or early winter, you need to try it. It is nothing for us to find more than two dozen moose a day and they are easy to photograph if you can navigate sagebrush fields, usually in the snow, with hidden badger holes!
Beautiful set...that Moose...wow...those are my favorite.

All fantastic. I am not sure why but I am most drawn to the Fox. All are great shots. I have a cabin in Island Park and spend 6 months a year there Fantastic place for photography and fishing.
