You have submitted a beautiful photograph of a harrier. Back in late October/early November I was hunting pheasants in Eastern Idaho. As I walked I would see what looked like a hawk or other raptor type bird flying away. I had no idea what they were until I spoke with a game warden who identified them as Northern Harriers. I had never heard of harriers before that except for a military aircraft. Thanks for pointing out what I was looking at.
