We wanted to take her a couple of bottles of Early Times bourbon medicine for her cough and some chewing tobacco and her favorite cigars. She hasn't been real steady for some time and recent reports mentioned she hadn't been keeping the property up. Granny wasn't home this trip so we left the goodies and will return some time in the distant future.

All are very good and an excellent set, except I don't understand your statement that "she hadn't been keeping the property up."
Very, very nice, Jim.
Where exactly was it that you left that bourbon? (Asking for a friend.)
Wow!
Talk about the middle of nowhere!
I bet she hasn’t been home in awhile 😂
Very nice set. She's lucky to have a caring grandson like you. Bourbon, Red Man chaw I hope and some seegars, what mother could ask for more.
Great pictures, cool story.
Does anyone own these old homesteads?

Yes, it is a "fer piece" Bill and that's the way she likes it...hiding from the revenuers!!
