Hi Hog's. This is first time at swimming indoors. This was at our new a couple of years ago, really nice Aquatics Center. Both ends are all glass, maybe 50 ft. high. One end was low sun from the south, the other was just real daylight. Never shot lighting like this. And to add to that was the water reflection. Not sure I am going back but really liked being there and shooting. Let me know and I will see what happens. Thanks all. BE SAFE!!

Wow, that glass and water are so clean I can't even see it. Good job.

Yeah, lighting in those situations are difficult. Like you found, you have varying degrees of intensity and the combination of natural and artificial lights. Post processing can help some, but still a challenge!

Nice Photos Tom

In a very difficult setting. so many different light angles reflections, etc.

I think You did a good job. I really like the photo of the kid diving.

Tom,

I really like the 3rd picture (peak action I guess) and the other are very good too, well done. I'll stay away from swimming right now and stick to the team sports that have some sort of ball/puck or something that you can hit, bounce, kick, throw etc.

Be safe Tom,
Rick

Tom,
Great photos - looks like the lighting was a bit of a challenge, but I think better than having to shoot in a poorly lit gym/dungeon.
