The Wood Nymph's Dance

This developed from a walk around a local subtropical gardens that had been illuminated for Christmas. The righthand figure is a stainless steel ribbon sculpture and the left hand is a model at a group shoot. Their images don't appear here, I've simply used their outlines as layer masks. The rest of the composite comprises about half a dozen shots of the gardens. Your critique is welcomed.

Very nicely done. Again I like the background, do you find them or make them?

Thank you. I hadn’t thought of it as graphic art but I guess that’s the direction it’s leaning.

I only use my own photographs (as in this case) or add to them by drawing or painting in Photoshop. I do occasionally use textures and texture brushes supplied by others. The background here is just parts of shots of the gardens blended together - as are the colours within the figures. Harking back to the transfer shed post of last week, the shed was several shots perspective warped and blended. I spend a lot of time in Free Transform as well. I have a rule not to use others images - and have broken it once or twice where I needed a small background element such as a bill poster, but rules need to be tested occasionally! Thanks for commenting Curmudgeon.
