Kinsale, Ireland 09-2021. We were touring the small town and came upon this guy apparently between gigs. Gary
That is one great shot! Have you given thought to perhaps editing out the little bits of trash, the spoon, cup, and spilled white stuff off the ground? Without those, I think this would be an even better "environmental portrait." Thanks for posting. Inspires me to keep my eyes open for unique photo opportunities.

I did and decided this is part of the image. Was that his cup of soup/coffee? Did he eat his dinner and fall asleep? Look closer at his shoes and pants tucked into his socks. He certainly has a tale to tell. Gary
Such is life, well documented, same thru the ages.
Excellent exposure!
I found Kinsale to be a photographic gem. Spent the night there on a golf excursion on the way to play Old Head. Best fish & chips ever from a little shop on the waterfront across from a lovely little harbor.
Fabulous reportage... superb color harmonies latent within...
While I certainly understand your take on sscnxy suggestion(s) Gary...
That said, do you want to get published?
Also had you considered getting lower? A lens at or below a subject's eye level elevates same...
(rather than looking down on them) literally and figuratively
Again just a thought...
I enjoyed your web portal:
https://gwong1.wordpress.com/ You are certainly a master of bird imagery...
Kudos to your stellar efforts in that genre...
Thank you for sharing... all the best on your delightful journey...
