A few snaps from the last week in this terrible, continued rain. Atmospheric River pumping out multi-inch per day rain. Aimed at the PNW, we have major flooding in the Northwest part of Washington State.
The birds posted here are some of the permanent residents; we see them everyday, flitting between the trees and branches. This time they were out in the open, under rain "canopies-leaves" to stay dry. They wait for my wife to go out and feed her ducks and chickens. We always place a good deal of extra seeds and meal worms and table scraps for little guys!
The image quality is not wonderful due to very low light and rain!

Thanx for viewing and commenting. Challenging in these dark, rainy days. D850, 500pF low shutter speeds and f 5.6, still had to deal with ISOs around 8000!

An outstanding series of shots 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️
Really nice. They look puffed up and cold.
Great set, Tim. I don't see anything wrong with them at all.
Well, Tim, I am impressed by this set even if you are not.

Thanx for viewing and commenting! High ISOs- around 8000 robs some detail. Plus the falling rain.
