Nude no. 156
Amoreena poses in the studio. The front of this particular studio is all glass, as in a storefront. The curtains were translucent and created a wonderfully soft light and all I had to do was position a 4x8 white foamcore to her right side. Easy as fried chicken. She did the rest.
One more thing about Amoreena. She kind of ruined it for my prior library in that she so far outshines her predecessors. She makes my other models seem so ordinary. That’s why I saved most of her for later in the game.

Finger error sadly the tattoos ruin the picture for me.
Another example of your fine work John.

I understand that you don’t like tattoos, but ruin the photo? I don’t get that. How about if it was a photo of a beautiful automobile, but it was your least favorite color-green. Would that also ruin the photo? Should I have not photographed Amoreena after she decided that she needed some tattoos? The very idea seems ludicrous to me. I’m not a fan of them either, but, look mate, it’s Amoreena…
And what does ‘ratios ruin it for me’ even mean? Are you conversant in lighting ratios? Would you like to discuss them with me? If so, you have to be more specific about what you don’t like about them.?

Yes I do not like pictures of women with tattoos on and I think footballers in the UK who another their arms with tattoos will regret it in later life.

Another finger error footballers with their arms smothered in tattoos will regret it in later life.
And just to confirm I think tattoos ruin a woman's beauty.

So…that’s a no for tattoos?
Pretty model. I like the pose and I like the way the curtain light works, from bright in the bottom right to darker in the back. Discussing tattoos on a model for me is a nonissue. They are there. Not a big tattoo fan, but sometimes they can work well, each case is different. In this case they don't add or subtract, they just are. My thoughts on things to improve. A little reflected or flash light (or PP) to lighten the face just a bit, she looks to have stunning eyes, see if they can be brought out more. I don't like the position of the left foot, it just sort of disappears, maybe turn it a bit so it isn't lost. Those two things are minimal and hard to catch if shooting quickly. The one thing that I dislike and was catchable is the use of the towel. Maybe it was used to cushion the area she is sitting on, but I find it distracting. If you have to use it I would try to get one that covered the entire image frame, if you didn't have one that long I would make sure the towel is smooth and not folded over like at the edge of this one. But still a very nice image, like all your work. The critique always sounds harsher than the praise when in fact it isn't meant to be.
