That's a tough one. I think I'd cut a bit off the left side and the top, keeping the same height to width ration as what you have posted.

If it's an 8x12 ratio, I'd crop the right, and any remainder to make it an 8x10 off of the left.

Thanks I do want to keep the 8x10 since it's the largest I can print at home.
I'm in agreement with rgrenaderphoto, I'd crop off the right side and maybe the top to maintain the ratio.

Iād go for this one as well Jack.
I tried for a square, as I thought that would fit the subject nicely. Unfortunately, that ended up cropping just a tad too much off the sides. So for me the best-looking crop was just a shade off a square. Makes for an odd printing size, but perhaps that doesn't matter.
