My son took me to the Houston Autorama Car Show this weekend, it was good but not the best I have been to. This is Texas, too many trucks and off-road vehicles and lowriders for me. My son pushed my wheelchair and me, with my camera and monopod three hours with no
complaints, he is a great son. Therefore, I took very few pictures, being in a wheelchair I could not get a good vantage point, there were always people in the way. This is the best picture that I took, my favorite sportscar of all time.
I would be my favorite too! Nice image.
You have great taste in cars Earnest, that's for sure. And blessed to have such a great son. Is that Cobra past or present?

Thank you, Papa, yes, my son is great, he is always there when I need him, as for the Cobra, it's a picture I got off the internet, I could never afford one, again Thanks.
Nice shot, Earnest. I wish you would have enjoyed the trip a little more. At least you got to spend time with your son.
Thank you, Ken, with my son, it is always a great day. I hate to be confined to a wheelchair; it is what it is.
Thank you very much, Jim. I was sure that you being from England, you would favor this car, I still think this is the most beautiful car ever made.

Probably a Series 1 E-type judging from the 3 SU carbs. I had a '67 fixed head coupe, that's British for the hardtop. Looks to be the same 4.2 litre engine that mine had.
I always wanted a roadster as well and had the opportunity to pick one up around 1980 for about $3,000 (same year 1967). But, I came to my senses. My rationale was that I could trade parts between the two and always keep one on the road. However, I came to the realization that would be stupid, that what I really needed was an every day driver.
I really miss driving that thing.
Truly one opf the prettiest cars ever built. It is all I can do to not buy one of these things. Thanks for waking me up with something really nice to think about.
Nice shot Earnest of a beautiful and timeless car.
Great shot, Earnest. It was my dream car also.
