Reflections in tranquillity

Not often I get windless days around here, but these reflections took my eye. The power lines & pylon are a fact of life, but not intrusive to me.
It’s a scene from one of the two rivers flowing into my capital city of Perth, Western Australia.

Love the pictures. I grew up in Bickley, just up into the Darling Range from Perth. There from 49-56, a LONG time ago, but it is always great to see pics from WA.

Beautiful serene photos. How far outside of Perth were these taken? Where's the black swans?

We lived in Perth (Applecross) on the banks of the Swan River for three years (2003-2006). The river is a couple of kilometers wide at that point. It looks like I should have ventured up river a bit.

Thanks for posting your photos,
Steve

The colors and the reflections are so sharp that I had to look twice to notice the power lines. Thanks for sharing.
