Thanks! Chuck was playing charades and was pointing to one of the aunts. And yes, it is the new addition - with still a lot of work to be done but it's coming along nicely. I joke that a cup of coffee will be cooled by the time it makes it from the kitchen to the living room! BTW - Paul made the staircase - it's a real thing of beauty and saved them thousands of dollars over having it made. At the top of the stairs is a large loft which serves as a bedroom for the three boys and beneath that the two girls each have their own bedroom.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed the stairway it is beautiful and made to last. LOL about the coffee. That addition just looks gorgeous!! Tell Paul he did GOOD!

We all have unique standards of perfection, don't we? what bugs the life out of me others probably wouldn't even notice. But, then again, it's that extra pursuit of perfection that makes us good at our craft or art - whatever that may be.

So right you are, but the bottom was a little out of whack!

Free Sunday is ready for your participation. I’m laid up a bit after shoulder surgery last Monday, but I’ve been lurking and enjoying everyone’s shared posts. I have very limited use of my dominant right side for 6 weeks. But don’t hesitate to jump in here a share some of your latest captures or post processing handiwork.
I’ll kick it off with just one & let y’all set the tone.

Love your Socks Larry, nice start for a free Sunday.

Are you talking about Liam and Sam hanging from the stairs? They jumped from the couch to the landing and then did their thing! Teen boys, gotta love them!!

I am assuming that Free Sunday means one can choose most any subject to share. So, here is a shot of a large, old, ginkgo tree that was saved when the city of Huntsville built a new civic center. Happened to be driving by with only a cellphone camera at hand. I wanted a shot that included the entire tree, but the lens is not wide enough to get it all in, unless I stand in the middle of a busy street, so I opted for this shot, which I think tells the story anyhow.
And, along with others, I wish you a fast and full recovery.

Very nice AJ❗️👏👍
You took me back to high-school sophomore biology class. Had to find a ginkgo tree and bring back a leaf from the only known one in Omaha at the time.
👍👍

It is seasoned shredded pork covered with a masa dough and wrapped in corn husks to hold the dough together while steaming. Then the corn husk is removed and discarded before eating.

Thanks! I've never had tamales and thought that the corn husk was somehow softened in the cooking process - a bit too much fibre in that case!
