Most of these surfers that are really good have been surfing their whole life and have many photos and videos of them surfing. I’ve photographed professionals before and when I approach them and ask them if they would like some of my photos I could email them. They don’t really seem too excited. It’s Usually the inexperienced surfers that I appreciate the photos more because they don’t have as many photos or videos of themselves. I am grateful to give the Novice surfers free photographs.

I think you are referring to the pier. It appears very sturdy but because of the angle I am photographing the pylons on.

Number four is a photograph of Kelly Slater who is the all-time best surfer in the world. He has won the championship 11 times. No one else is even close. This photo was taken at lower trestles surfing beach right before he entered the water for his heat. He was getting his mind in a state of winning.
