Attempt at focus stacking in Photoshop

I would appreciate creative critique of this photostack of a pine cone, using a Nikon D500 with a 105 macro. F8, ISO 100, one second each for 46 shots. I used sky replacement for a background that was better than the blurred kitchen where I did the shots.
