A friend of mine (a conspiracy theorist) wrote a book on the v*****e and wanted me to look at the manuscript before publishing.
The premise of the book is that the ‘universal government’ from the elite of all major countries agree that there is an overpopulation that wastes earth recourses, contributes to g****l w*****g and wages non productive wars on each other.
The story solution is two fold: 1. create a v***s that will k**l millions of people world wide. 2. Create a v*****e that would be advertised as a v***s k**ler, when in actuality it would be a death potion that would k**l more than the v***s over a ten year period. All the while making the v*****e companies’ stock lucrative.
I told my friend it looks like an interesting story and nothing he said could be factually disproved.
Question: when published, will his book sell ?
It will probably sell well to the population that already subscribes to these beliefs. Having a real book in hand to quote rather than the internet will give them greater authority.
I would save the money, time, etc. Suggest he could sell the script/concept to a reputable indy movie company. Perhaps. release the book after the movie is released.

Sounds like bad fiction. And not very original.

I know what you mean: If you say something on UHH that is a fact nobody believes it........... unless you provide a link.

So he's written non-fiction.

travelwp, your angle that this is a friend's book idea is nonsense. This is just your new way of sidestepping direct criticism for your whacky thoughts.

Most people who would read it can not read.

No clue what you are talking about. Pretty sure if you read my comment it says nothing about friends, just a direct comment about the book.

Sorry, I should not have quoted you in my post. It was a direct post to the OP. I have edited my post to remove the reference to you.

Hmmm, when you write about future things that can't be proved, isn't that 'fiction' ??

No, that would be opinion or maybe just conspiracy theories.

In your mind, I think you are always right.
