A Mourning Dove in extremely warm late afternoon sunlight. A dove's gray feathers can take on different color casts depending on the light. In this case very warm late afternoon sunlight has brought out browns for an overall warm look.
This is part of an on going project of mine to record the patterns and textures of feathers, esp. birds that at first glance look all one color.

Hand held from a blind at about 30' in April 2020 in my backyard in Corona, CA. I went back to the OOC and reedited it in the latest versions of my PP apps.
Steady hand and excellent focus. Nice. 👏
