Arapaho Pass hike Colorado

These are some photos I took on my hike to Arapako pass which is just west of Nederland CO. It was a beautiful fall day with some snow flurries in the air and clouds hanging in the mountain peeks.

Thanks Peter. I like the 1st one the best too. I was surprised buy all the Pika on this hike. They live in the high mountain boulder fields hopping around collecting grasses to store for the long mountain winters. They constantly make loud peeping noises to warn other pika to stay out of their turf. LOL! Even cute fur balls will fight for their food in the wild.

Thanks erl. This is my 1st time hiking in CO. Man that elevation is no joke. I was above 12,000 ft 5 times on my trip. I got used to it by the end but then had to go home. I need to take longer vacations. LOL!
